Coverguard Announces Acquisition of Weltek
Coverguard, a major player in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) market in Europe, announced today the complete acquisition of Weltek, a company specialized in the manufacture of welding helmets and assisted ventilation PPE.
Weltek, based in Beynost (France), will henceforth rely on the Coverguard group's international presence and its knowledge of export markets. The Coverguard group will benefit from Weltek's expertise in Welding and Assisted Ventilation PPE.
Weltek's current directors, Mr. Terence Donati and Mr. Romuald Donati, will become respectively Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of Weltek, under the chairmanship of Mr. Brice de La Morandière, CEO of Coverguard.
The Coverguard and Weltek entities remain independent in management and operations.
